Shift Details: The schedule rotates using a Pitman schedule: Mo, Tu, Fr, Sa one week, then Su, We, Th the following week.· Shift Hours: 7:00am to 7:00pm or 7:00PM to 7:00AMPay $18 hourly Interviews: Required; in person

Onboarding Requirements: This role requires completion of the following prior to the applicant starting. Pre-Employment Physical Abilities Test - Scheduled by the VendorEli Lilly Screening - Set up by WM – Drug screen and background screen

Job Summary: Material Handlers move recyclable material through the facility, conduct material grading, and evaluate for sale destination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Moves material through the facility with the use of material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, handcarts) as required.
Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
Load compactors and trailers.
Operate baler.
Decontaminate containers prior to being placed in production.
Uses PC tablets to dispense and receive information such as part numbers, quantities, locations, comments, etc.
Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas.
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
Properly documents work performed.
Conducts material audits.

None required

Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Legally eligible to work in the United States. Education High school diploma or G.E.D.Experience Zero to four years previous experience.

Work Environment/Key Interactions: Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity. Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 50 pounds frequently. Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Normal setting for this job is in a waste building at a pharmaceutical facility. The environment is temperature controlled. Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves power equipment and noise, most of the workday.
