Analyze current and forecast weather for departure, alternates, route, destination, and arrival alternate; determine fuel requirements and file flight plans.
Coordinate catering/commissary with the Flight Technician when applicable; verify aircraft status with Maintenance.
Calculate weight and balance for departure and landing within AFM limits.
Ensure required equipment, documents, publications, and databases are onboard and current; arrange required security.
Conduct thorough interior and exterior preflight inspections; lead preflight and post-flight crew briefings.

Keep pilot certificates, SIC qualifications, and the FAA First Class Medical current; complete all recurrent training as required.
Coordinate aircraft servicing at intermediate stops with the Flight Technician or Cabin Safety Attendant.
Protect sensitive company information; represent Occidental with a professional appearance and positive attitude.
