Pay Range: $22.00hr - $24.00hr Job Overview: The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing technical duties in one of the functional areas: electronic, mechanical, or systems. The Manufacturing Technician completes tests, measurements, operations, and process controls.
Responsibilities: Perform technical duties on functional work group projects. Employ test techniques and procedures for key cell projects. Use job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers, and bills of material. Maintain production tools and equipment. Perform troubleshooting to diagnose product, process, or program defects and repair them. Maintain skills in electronics, hydraulics, mechanical assemblies, automated machine operation, and programming. Use the guiding principles and tools of the manufacturing system to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements: Ability to read blueprints, identify components, perform wire preparation, stripping, and crimping. Ability to perform harness repair and termination, and use pertinent manual hand tools. Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical experience. Education Background: High School Diploma or Technical School degree.
Preferred Certifications: Forklift certification. Overhead crane certification. Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) certification.
Key Skills and Abilities: Proficiency with hand and power tools. Experience operating forklifts. Experience operating overhead cranes. Testing and diagnostic skills.
