Job Summary:
  • We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized receptionist to join our busy dog grooming salon. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people and dogs, provides excellent customer service, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Schedule. Part Time. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
  • Approx hours Monday 8.50am-4.20pmApprox hours Tuesday, Wednesday 7.50am-4.20pm. Must be available to work these specified 3 days. Reliable Attendance is essential
Responsibilities:
  • Greet clients and check pets in and out
  • Answer phones, respond to text messages and voicemails, schedule appointments, and complete customer call-backs
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service
  • Process payments, maintain client and pet records, and promote salon services and retail products to customers
  • Communicate with and support the grooming team
  • Assist with payroll preparation and commission sheets
  • Monitor retail products and salon supplies
  • Manage Salon laundry, keep reception areas organized, light cleaning during quieter periods
  • Hold or supervise dogs when needed
  • Assist with opening and closing duties
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of customer service experience required
  • Receptionist or front desk experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and organized
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Comfortable with computers and scheduling software
  • Comfortable working with dogs of different breeds and sizes
