Job Description:
Career Institute of Technology is seeking a highly motivated Cooperative Education Coordinator to lead and coordinate work-based learning and workforce development programming for secondary Career and Technical Education students. This position plays a key role in connecting students with employers, ensuring program compliance, and strengthening partnerships with business and industry.
Qualifications:
Cooperative Education Certification is required.
Completion of bachelor's degree in education is highly desirable.
Five (5) years of successful Career and Technical Education experience preferred.
Possess strong interpersonal skills, management skills in areas of educational leadership, and students.
Be highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment; able to multitask; be a strong team player.
Possess skills to develop marketing materials to advertise program specifics and form industry partnerships.
Possess knowledge of Workforce Development standards, Federal labor laws, and State labor laws
General Duties & Responsibilities Adhere to PDE Cooperative Education Guidelines for Administration.
