Salary: $90,000–$120,000, depending on experience

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee the company’s administrative HR functions. This is a purely administrative role, and plumbing or construction experience is not required. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of HR experience, with preference given to candidates who have independently managed HR operations and improved company processes.
Key Responsibilities: Manage employee paperwork, personnel files, onboarding, and offboarding. Administer 401(k), healthcare, insurance, PTO, and other benefits. Handle employee concerns, conflicts, grievances, and performance issues. Support hiring, interviews, onboarding, and employee retention. Develop recruiting outreach through LinkedIn, local schools, workforce programs, and relocation networks. Improve HR processes related to hiring, terminations, promotions, benefits, and performance reviews. Create checklists, tracking systems, and audits to ensure HR processes are completed accurately and on time. Coordinate performance reviews, training, certifications, and employee development. Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with employment laws. Advise leadership on HR-related decisions and employee matters.
Qualifications: Minimum of five years of progressive HR experience. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred. Experience with employee relations, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, and HR documentation. Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment regulations. Excellent communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR or payroll systems. SHRM or PHR certification is preferred but not required.
