About the role
Supervising daily operations, the full-time Patient Access Center Supervisor will coordinate staff activities, manage workflow, and serve as a liaison with patients and providers in a primarily remote environment, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Key responsibilities:
Coordinates daily activities of the Patient Access Center, including staff scheduling and performance monitoring
Supervises and trains PAC personnel, ensuring compliance with performance standards and conducting evaluations
Acts as a liaison with clinics and departments to enhance communication and process improvements
Required qualifications:
Associate degree in business, healthcare, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 1+ years of supervisory experience in a healthcare environment or 2+ years in scheduling services
1-3 years of progressive management experience or demonstrated office management skills
Understanding of third-party payor and managed care requirements
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and business office products
