The heart of RVK is our team-centered approach to client service, provided by our experienced team of investment consulting professionals.We are looking for intellectually curious and pragmatically innovative candidates with a "can do" attitude to fill our fulltime Data Entry Specialist position. Candidates must be prepared to work in an extraordinarily collegial team-oriented environment and consulting model. This is an entry-level position so on the job training will be provided.The Data Entry Specialist position provides data collection support to the Performance Measurement and Analytics (PMA) Department.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollect and enter investment manager and index data on a monthly basis for certain asset classesCollect and enter custodian bank data on a monthly basis for certain custodian banks and clientsReconcile data with a third party, troubleshoot as needed, note reasons for any unresolved discrepancies, and approveMaintain due dates, checklists, and proceduresWork in a deadline-driven environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, follow through and up on assigned tasks (team, client, and administrative) without needing to be micromanagedProvide support to the other Data Entry Specialists and Receptionist as neededDownload data, information, fund fact sheets, etc. via the internet, Morningstar Direct, eVestment, etc. on a monthly, quarterly or ad-hoc basisHelp achieve RVK business plan goalsOther duties assigned as neededCandidate(s) with the best combination of the following skills, abilities, experience, and training will be considered for this fulltime position.Minimum QualificationsExcellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detailStrong internal and external communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external clientsProficiency in the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Basic grasp of math concepts and termsAnalytical skillsAbility to manage and manipulate dataAbility to problem-solve independentlyProven initiative to improve processes or create efficienciesStrong work ethic; able and willing to work more than 40 hours per week when needed (deadlines and/or workload may require 50 to 60-hour weeks and include evenings and weekends during peak time)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently, within a team environmentAbility to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to effectively communicate progress and follow through on assigned tasksAbility to perform a variety of highly responsible, complex, and confidential functions involving the use of independent judgment, problem solving skills, and personal initiativeAbility to analyze situations carefully and adopt effective courses of actionSelf-motivatedFriendly, professional work demeanorAbility to maintain a positive attitude even under the most stressful situationsGood judgment, flexibility, creativity, and sensitivity in response to changing situations and needsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, and/or a related field helpful, but not requiredKnowledge of the financial services industry helpful, but not requiredCompensation and BenefitsData Entry Specialist Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually.RVK offers compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.Positions are eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus if held by an active employee on the date bonuses are payable.A competitive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental insurance, a 401(k)-retirement plan with an employer match formula, pre-tax flexible spending, dependent care and transportation benefits, company-paid life insurance, tuition reimbursement (subject to eligibility and manager approval), and a generous Paid-Time-Off (PTO) program.Come join a company that rewards hard work and appreciates its employees!
