About the role
Primary Duties:
Become the primary contact with the buyers at the major wholesalers Monitor Kesin product inventory at both the National Logistics Center (NLC) and forward distribution centers (FDC) at the major wholesalers daily Review of product omission and out-of-stock reports from the wholesalers Identify inventory issues (i.e. no stock, low stock, or overstock) at the NLC and FDC and work with the buyers to address and correct Provide weekly status reports of key product inventories at the wholesalers Respond to order inquiries from the wholesalers daily General Work with Sr. Director to identify issues/opportunities related to the wholesalers Learn duties/responsibilities of Wholesaler Manager on an as needed basis Attention to detail Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks Initiative and ability / desire to learn Advanced Excel proficiency and ability to learn/utilize multiple systems, both internal and external Miscellaneous Ad Hoc assignments as necessary Meetings / Travel Attend regional and national trade shows, as determined by Sr. Director Monthly calls with wholesalers Project a positive and professional image of Kesin Pharma and its products Travel 5 - 10%Qualifications /
Requirements:
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in trade relations; ten (10) years preferred Direct experience with at least two of the three major wholesalers (Cardinal, Cencora, and/or McKesson) Documented success in working with wholesalers in stocking and/or shifting product to distribution centers to meet customer demand Understanding of wholesaler DC networks, product setup, and order flow Ability to work with minimal supervision and achieve the required outcomes Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field Position Location Chicago, Illinois
