About the role

Garage Property Damage Claims Adjuster We are looking for a highly capable Garage Property Damage Claims Adjuster to join our team. The position reports to a manager in Denver and focuses on adjudicating commercial Garage Property Damage claims to provide superb results for our clients. Location & Employment Full‐time, 100% in‐office Omaha, NE or Richmond, VA Additional offices: Albany, NY; Chicago, IL; Los Angeles, CA Standard business hours required Key Responsibilities Adjudicate high‐technical complexity Garage Property Damage claims within authority limits. Resolve non‐complex issues requiring a broader set of knowledge. Gather, analyze, and investigate claim information to find solutions. Report claims trends and developments to senior management and underwriters. Identify loss drivers and trends to reduce claims frequency and severity through data analysis. Determine coverage by analyzing claims forms, policies, endorsements, client instructions, and other records. Investigate claims promptly, including interviewing all parties. Manage litigation claims, diary tasks, reserves, and resource coordination. Prepare file documentation and reports. Apply creative solutions for the best financial outcome. Negotiate cost‐effective solutions within limits. Process mail and prioritize workload. Maintain strong claim management passion and customer focus. Qualifications & Experience Minimum of two years adjudicating first and third‐party commercial Garage Property Damage claims. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Or two insurance designations, or four years additional related experience in environmental claims (substitutes for degree). Licensed Claims Examiner (state‐specific) or ability to obtain a license within 120 days of hire. Experience with ImageRight, Guidewire, and ClaimsCenter preferred. Strong customer service focus. Excellent communication, negotiation, and judgment skills. Time‐management and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to articulate financial value of work to stakeholders, including C‐level executives. Self‐directed, proactive, and solution‐focused with a global mindset. Proficient in MS Office Suite and related business software. Desire for professional development through continuing education.
Compensation & Benefits: Base salary ranges by location (example ranges provided). Additional locations may differ. Annual performance bonus based on company and individual performance.
