About the role
Summary:
This role is focused on implementation of AGV project, the installation and debugging of robot automation in a high paced manufacturing environment. This position is project based and will be located in Thomasville, NC. For the first 2 months this position will train in Atlanta Georgia. This position will be project based, estimated 18 month duration, with opportunity to become full-time upon successful completion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but not limited to. AGF (Automated Guided Forklift) onsite deployment, debugging and troubleshootingAGF (Automated Guided Forklift) operational status tracking, recording and summarizing project onsite and regularly reporting to project manager; Responsible for project documentations; Develop and follow up project schedule plan, communication and coordinate technical problems; Provide timely feedback to stake holders and constantly improve project management skills Other duties may be assigned. Scope of Responsibility This job is responsible to develop and follow up project schedule plan for projects, communication and coordinate with vendor for technical problems;
Qualifications:
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Math Ability: Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Competence in Microsoft Excel. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have competency in CAD, Solid Works, Excel, Word, PPT and other office software; Education and/or
Experience:
Candidates with degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or related technical disciplines are preferred. Familiar with CAD, Solid Works, Excel, Word, PPT and other office software; Good learning ability; Good communication skills is preferred Enthusiastic in work, strong adaptability and stress resistance, good teamwork spirit andcustomer service awareness, able to travel Having experience in electrical automation industry and FAE work experience is preferred; Having experience in AGV, AGF or forklift maintenance is preferred
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in the manufacturing environment which can be noisy and distracting. Some work will be performed in an office environment where disruptions occur infrequently.
Physical Demands:
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance.
Travel Required:
Travel will be required during the initial training period. Initial training period will be 1-2 months in Atlanta, GAThere may be additional training related travel.
