Campus ReceptionistPay Grade: 730 (Min $15.64 per hr) Work Days: 183Primary Purpose: Responsible for providing reception and clerical assistance for the campus office.Qualifications:Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalencySpecial Knowledge/Skills: Proficient skills in typing, word processing, file maintenance, and digital systems management Effective communication and interpersonal skills, organizational proficiencyExperience: Some office and/or customer service experience (preferred)Major Responsibilities and Duties:Greet and direct guests, parents, and visitors to the campusReceive incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staffReceive, sort, and distribute mail, messages, documents, and other deliveriesMaintain accurate records of substitute teachersOperate the clinic when the nurse is unavailableMonitor students checking in and checking out of schoolAssist with general written correspondence and formsAssist with morning student passesFollow all rules, regulations, and policies of Plano ISD and follow directives from superiorsFollow attendance policy as assigned by supervisorPerform other duties as assigned.Equipment Used: Uses computer, scanner, printer, copier, fax, TelephoneWorking Conditions:Mental Demands: Reading; ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control under stressPhysical Demands/Environmental Factors: Work with frequent interruptions; frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling; prolonged use of computer and repetitive hand motions; occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
