About the role
- Receiving and offloading
- Offload inbound trucks and check freight against the order before you sign for itCatch short shipments, wrong material, and damage on the dock, not weeks later
- Log received material in ServiceTrade the same day
- Break down pallets, move freight by forklift or pallet jack, put material away to a fixed, labeled location
- Organization and stock control
- Own the layout: bins labeled, aisles clear, fast-moving material where it belongs
- Pull, stage, and kit parts, tools, and equipment by job so crews load fast and roll on time
- Track what leaves the building and who took itRun counts, investigate variances, and correct the count
- Process outbound shipments, warranty claims, and core returns
- Support fleet and equipment tracking, including tools assigned out and due back
- The building
- Keep the warehouse clean, swept, and safe every day
- Handle trash, recycling, and general housekeeping
- Make minor repairs and flag anything you cannot fix before it becomes a shutdown
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Lift and move material up to 50 pounds
- What we are looking for3 to 5 years in warehouse, receiving, inventory, or distribution operations. Any industry. HVAC-R or mechanical supply is a strong plus, not a requirement
- Forklift and pallet jack capability. This is daily work. Certification preferred, and we can certify you if you have the hours behind you
- Organizational discipline above everything else.
- You keep material where it belongs and you can explain your system to anyone who walks inReceiving discipline: verify against the order, document the exception, close the loop the same day
- Comfort learning operational software.
- We use ServiceTrade and Google Workspace and we will train you
- Ability to work independently, set your own priorities, and finish what you start
- Steady communication with technicians, drivers, vendors, and office staff
- A valid driver's license
- Physical capability for warehouse work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and being on your feet all day
- $24.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience, overtime eligible
