Engineer – Manufacturing Tooling | Rocket Park, FL | 6-Month Contract We're hiring 15 Manufacturing Tooling Engineers to design and deliver simple tooling for launch vehicle production. 6-month assignments, onsite in Rocket Park, FL.
What you'll do: • Design and release CAD models and engineering drawings for simple tooling (ASME Y14.5)• Solve design challenges: assembly fixtures, material-handling equipment, test fixtures, weldments, custom machinery• Own tooling projects from concept through commissioning — vendor selection, fabrication, inspection, installation, proof testing• Root cause analysis for nonconformances; define repair/rework and packaging requirements• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and integration engineers on safety, cost, quality, and cycle time
What you'll bring: • B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience• 3+ years direct manufacturing experience• Tooling design, fabrication, and procurement background• CAD modeling/drafting — Creo Parametric and Windchill preferred• GD&T, free-body diagrams, load cases, basic hand calculations
Nice to have: Mech/Mfg/Industrial/Aero degree, DFM/DFA, CNC machining, welding, rigging, FEA (ANSYS Workbench).Work authorization: U.S. citizen, national, Green Card holder, refugee, or asylee.15 openings — apply now or DM for details.
