About the role

We’re currently seeking an experienced Telecom Expense Management (TEM) Analyst / Project Manager to support the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) in managing and optimizing telecom expenses across mobile, landline, voice, and data services.
Location: 2 Broadway, New York, NY
Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite
Key Responsibilities: Analyze and audit wireless and wired telecom usage, charges, and carrier invoices Identify billing discrepancies, overcharges, and cost-saving opportunities Reconcile approximately 30,000 mobile devices in Service Now against wireless carrier records Analyze zero-usage devices and telecom spending Support budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking, and vendor payments Analyze large financial and operational datasets Develop reports, presentations, and Power BI dashboards for leadership Support procurement requirements, contract modifications, and financial reporting
Qualifications: Experience with Telecom Expense Management (TEM) and telecom expense/invoice auditing Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and spend tracking Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience working with large datasets and financial reports Experience with Service Now, People Soft, Power BI, and advanced ExcelBS in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred Strong communication, organizational, and quantitative skills
