About the Job: Provide front-desk, switchboard, scheduling, and administrative support while assisting with claimant inquiries and case development.
Duties/Responsibilities: Operate switchboard and communication systems; answer, direct, and transfer calls. Manage visitor check-ins, records, mail, paging systems, alarms, and emergency calls. Provide basic customer service and respond to inquiries about claim status or transportation assistance. Locate specialized doctors, schedule consultative exams, and print and send exam paperwork by mail or fax. Contact claimants about appointments and pending paperwork. Coordinate with doctors, hospitals, attorneys, and other sources to obtain follow-up reports and status information. Assist case adjudicators by contacting claimants, attorney representatives, and medical sources as directed. Track and complete daily assignments, including case development activities requiring analysis and judgment.
Required Qualifications: Strong internal and external customer service skills. Front-desk and scheduling experience. Computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual skills.
