The Department of Anesthesiology at The Ohio State University is actively recruiting academic anesthesiologists with fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine to join our growing Division of Critical Care. We seek dedicated physicians committed to excellence in patient care, education, and academic scholarship. The medical center is experiencing growth of inpatient services, creating excellent opportunities to build upon and expand our multidisciplinary critical care medicine programs. Our strategic plan includes $4 billion in facilities expansion and programmatic development over the next few years.
Position Highlights:
  • Clinical practice in a high-acuity, multidisciplinary environment, including the Surgical ICU, Cardiovascular ICU, and Cancer Surgical ICUWork alongside a collaborative and dynamic team of anesthesiology-trained intensivists
  • Engage in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in a vibrant academic setting

  • Candidate QualificationsMD, DO or equivalent degree
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Critical Care Medicine Fellowship
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
  • Licensed or license eligible to practice medicine in the state of Ohio
  • Interest in academic medicine, including education, quality improvement, or clinical research
  • Qualify for an academic appointment at Assistant, Associate or Professor rankH-1B visa sponsorship available for qualified applicants
