GENERAL SUMMARY: Perform a wide variety of foundry duties including (but not limited to) dewaxing molds, melt assistance, wash-patch-wrap, knockout, cut off and rough finishing. PRINCIPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES: Assist as part of the pouring team working safely with molten metal. Unstage molds from the shell system and prepare molds for dewax. Load/Unload molds from preheat ovens. Work collaboratively with melt team and other departments to ensure that products are conformant to customer specifications. Maintain records for pours and materials.
QUALIFICATIONS: High school education or equivalent experience. Read and follow work instructions WORKING CONDITIONS: Heavy lifting required. Heat levels above normal. Foundry Utility 1st Shift (1 opening) Starting Wage: $24.06/hr 1st shift hours standard: 4:00am-12:00pm Monday-Friday There is a lot of OT in this department
