About the role
HVAC Installer/Technician
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues.
Repair or replace defective HVAC components and parts.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper system operation.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects and assignments.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Perform other related duties as required to support ongoing organizational needs.
Skills & Experience:
Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
Experience with HVAC system design and installation.
Knowledge of property maintenance practices.
Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is preferred.
Proficiency in servicing and repairing various types of HVAC equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in HVAC/mechanical systems.
Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
Ability to effectively communicate with team members and other stakeholders.
