About the role

We are working with a leading international law firm to recruit a Senior Manager of Marketing Events to lead its firmwide programme of high-profile client events, signature experiences and major attorney retreats. This is much more than an event delivery role. The successful candidate will work closely with senior Marketing and Client Development leadership and partners to ensure the firm’s events programme directly supports client engagement, relationship development, brand-building and revenue growth.
Key responsibilities will include: Developing the firmwide strategy for client-facing events and experiences. Advising partners and BD teams on audiences, formats, investment and commercial objectives. Leading marquee client events and major partner and attorney retreats. Managing and developing a sophisticated events team. Owning budgets, external vendors, venues, contracts and major event logistics. Working across Marketing, BD, Communications, Digital, IT and Operations. Establishing consistent event standards and best practices across offices. Measuring event effectiveness through client engagement, ROI, business conversion and budget performance. We’re looking for someone with 10 (ten)+ years’ relevant experience who combines exceptional event management credentials with a genuinely strategic and commercial mindset. Experience within a law firm, wider professional services or financial services environment would be particularly valuable, alongside the confidence to work with senior stakeholders and partners in a fast-paced, highly sophisticated environment. EQUAL OPPORTUNITIESOur client is committed to creating an inclusive workplace and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals regardless of race, colour, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, marital status, citizenship status or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
