About the role
- Institutionalize CRE team's portfolio management and asset management process
- Build and maintain a cloud-based portfolio management platform to process large datasets and support investment decisions
- Develop data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools that provide real-time portfolio analytics
- Create quantitative investment models for portfolio construction, risk management, and performance analysis
- Collaborate with Investment, Finance, Risk, IT teams and third-party service providers to ensure system integration and data accuracy
- Utilize data-driven insights to assess investment performance and inform strategy adjustments
- Secondarily, support the investment and asset management teams in analyzing certain investment opportunities across the capital structure as the need arises
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field from a top-tier university 3-10 years of experience in software development or quantitative finance roles preferred
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) required
- Proficiency in database technologies and data management tools (SQL, NoSQL, Spark)
- Experience building financial applications, dashboards, or analytics platforms
- Possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Analytically strong and excellent attention to details
