Pay Rate: $19.82/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Typical Business Hours
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire (W2)
Job Overview: We are seeking a professional and organized Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to a busy department. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication and organizational skills, and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to department personnel and management
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally
  • Greet and direct visitors
  • Perform word processing, data entry, and document preparation
  • Maintain filing systems and records
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and conference rooms
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, and other departmental events
  • Assist with financial record keeping and basic administrative reporting
  • Order and manage office supplies
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and correspondence
  • Support special projects and additional administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of administrative assistant or related office support experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
  • Professional demeanor and customer service mindset
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
