About the role
Technical Assembler Opportunity Steelwrist is a growing global manufacturer of industry-leading tiltrotators, quick couplers, and work tools for excavators. As our North American business continues to expand, we are increasing local production in Newington, Connecticut, and are looking for a driven Technical Assembler who wants to grow with us and help develop our U.S. manufacturing operation for the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical and hydraulic assembly of Steelwrist products according to drawings, work instructions, and quality requirements. Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and other assembly equipment safely and correctly. Perform inspections and quality checks throughout the assembly process. Identify and help resolve assembly, quality, or material issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Participate in continuous improvement and support the development of more efficient, standardized, and digital ways of working.
Who You Are:
Is mechanically inclined and enjoys working with technical products. Works efficiently without compromising quality. Takes ownership, solves problems, and looks for better ways of working. Is a team player who is open, dependable, and willing to help where needed. Enjoys learning new products, processes, and technology. Your Background 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related technical field. Experience with mechanical and hydraulic assembly. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and exploded-view diagrams. Experience with industrial equipment, construction equipment, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement is a plus.
