About the role
To support a growing client base, the full-time Ohio Licensed Specialty Sales Consultant will sell custom-designed specialty benefit packages to clients and brokers, establishing relationships and meeting sales quotas in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
Establish and maintain relationships with brokers and clients through networking and representation at industry events
Educate clients on specialty benefit packages and evaluate their requirements through interviews and follow-ups
Develop and deliver sales proposals, close deals, and meet established sales quotas within the assigned territory
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience
5 years of progressive experience in health and/or specialty product insurance sales and service
Current Ohio Department of Insurance License
In-depth knowledge of health insurance products and industry regulations
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and sales prospect databases
