About the role

About the role: We’re a 10+ year, multi-location sports nutrition company doing over $4M/year, and we’re looking for a Store Sales Manager who treats a store like a mini-business, not a shift to “get through.”Your scoreboard is simple: sales, team performance, and customer experience.
What you’ll do: Own the daily sales number for your store: traffic, conversion, average ticket, and units per sale. Lead, coach, and hold a small team accountable to clear standards for sales, service, and appearance. Run the floor: scheduling, opening/closing routines, cash handling, and resolving customer issues fast. Train staff on product knowledge and simple sales scripts so every customer leaves with the right stack, not just one item. Keep the store tight: inventory accuracy, shrink control, merchandising, and in-stock on key products. Execute promos and local marketing (in-store events, local partnerships, social posts) to grow repeat customers. What success looks like in 90 days You know your numbers cold, daily and weekly. The team hits targets for sales and average ticket consistently. Underperformers are either improving on a written plan or gone. Store standards are predictable: clean, stocked, and ready to sell without you on the floor. Who this is for 2+ years leading people in any performance environment (retail, restaurant, gym, call center, etc.).You think in numbers, not vibes: you’ve had goals before and can explain exactly how you hit them. You enjoy selling and teaching others how to sell, not just “ringing people up.”You’re comfortable with evenings/weekends; retail volume doesn’t scare you. You want real responsibility and a path to multi-store or district leadership if you perform. Compensation & schedule Competitive base salary + performance-based bonus tied to store results. Full-time, typical schedule of ~40–45 hours/week with some evenings/weekends. Employee discount on products + benefits discussed in interview.
How to apply: Apply here on Linked In and include a short note answering these two questions: What was your last role, and what were your sales or performance targets vs. what you actually hit? In one paragraph, describe a time you led a team to improve results.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
