School PsychologistImprove the academic and behavioral performance of students through the provision of assessment and consultative services to the local education agencies. Essential duties and responsibilities include conducting psychological and psycho-educational assessments, preparing assessment reports, attending required meetings, maintaining information relative to education assessments, collaborating and providing consultation with families and school personnel, utilizing formal assessments, providing risk assessment, communicating effectively with parents and staff, promoting a productive performance environment, planning and managing resources, using supervision and staff development, maintaining knowledge of current developments in school psychology, providing psychological counseling, conducting threat assessment, completing necessary documents, maintaining confidentiality, complying with policies and laws, and supporting district and school safety efforts.
