Nuclear Medicine Tech – Full Time

About the role
Jackson Health Pros is seeking an experienced nuclear med tech for a permanent role with an area healthcare client where you’ll work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology, or equivalent educational credential. State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in Ohio. BLS certification. Newly licensed nuclear medicine technologists are acceptable. Experience with diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. Experience with stress testing and working with stress test nurses preferred. Familiarity with dose calibrator, Geiger counter, Captus well counter and uptake probe, glucometer, stress lab EKG machines and treadmills, blood pressure devices, and pulse oximeter. Ability to work varied day shifts. Typical schedules include M-F day shift with rotating call, weekends, and holidays. Shift hours may include 6:00am–4:30pm (10s), or 6:30am–3:00pm, 7:00am–3:30pm, 7:30am–4:00pm (8s).Capacity to function in a fast-paced hospital environment and work directly with multidisciplinary teams.
