About the role

Heitmeyer Consulting is currently looking for a ServiceNow Developer / Architect in the Dallas, TX area. This is a hybrid position, so the person needs to live in the Dallas, TX area. No C2C or agencies for this position. This is a hands-on ServiceNow AIOps Developer/Arch, not a general ServiceNow Developer or Administrator. AIOPs has been implanted and an ideal candidate will have actual implementation experience across AIOps, Event Management, observability integrations, and automation. A hands-on technical dev role with an architect mindset focused on building and enhancing the bank's ServiceNow AIOps and IT Operations capabilities. Need someone who can architect solutions, work directly in the platform, integrate observability tools, and provide technical leadership to other engineers. Define the multi-year roadmap for ServiceNow AIOps/ITOM, aligned to business SLAs, SRE objectives, and platform governance. Architect event correlation, noise reduction, anomaly detection and root cause workflows leveraging ServiceNow Event Management, Predictive AIOps, and Health Log Analytics. Establish design patterns for service maps and dependency models using CMDB, Discovery, and Service Graph. Lead build-out and optimization of Event Management, Cloud Observability, Metric Intelligence, and Log Analytics (including parsers, classifiers, deduplication).Implement automation for enrichment and remediation (Flow Designer, Orchestration, IntegrationHub, custom actions) and guide "self-healing" runbooks. Integrate ServiceNow with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, Elastic), cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure), and messaging/ITSM systems.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
