About the role
Fabric Inspector Key Responsibilities:
Inspect fabric materials for defects such as tears, misweaves, stains, or inconsistencies Measure and verify fabric specifications including width, length, and pattern alignment Document inspection results and communicate issues to supervisors or machine operators Ensure product quality by following company standards and customer requirements Identify and classify defects according to established guidelines Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures Assist with material handling as needed, including rolling, tagging, and staging inspected fabric Qualifications Experience in textile inspection or manufacturing preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects quickly Basic math and measurement skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Work Environment Full-time position in a textile production facility Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and consistent workflow
