About the role
To support design leadership for new and existing construction builds, the full-time Structural Design Lead will manage electrical and mechanical system design for data center development while collaborating with project managers, clients, and consultants, with the flexibility to work remotely.
Key responsibilitiesAssist Project Managers in coordinating and administering projects through all design and construction phases, focusing on MEP design leadership
Manage external design consultants to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion of MEP contract documents
Communicate and enforce engineering and design standards across project teams and maintain project documentationRequired qualificationsCollege Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical), Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
Experience in Project Management for large-scale construction programs, particularly data centers or mission-critical facilities
Proficiency in MEP design and a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems
Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite
Experience overseeing the preparation and approval of MEP contract documents from third-party design consultants
