Description:
- Plant knowledge and passion to help customers with their garden or landscaping needs, Customer-service driven and a critical eye to notice when customers need assistance or merchandise needs attention.

- Complete cashier, sales associate and department head duties as necessary.
- Help unload incoming trucks and put away merchandise (as arranged by management).Maintain your assigned department: Keep clean, organized and fully stocked.
- Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals/priorities assigned to you and move with your "Ace Pace".Remove promotional bin tags from displays/price tags as required.
- Restock merchandise displays as needed, watch end caps and side wings.
- Handle special orders for all non-stock items.
- Never tell a customer no without checking with a manager.
- Watch for shoplifters and act, in line with Elder's policy, that will discourage shoplifting.
- Respond to radio requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months-1 year of retail experience, gardens experience preferred.
Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members.
Skilled at providing prompt, friendly and attentive customer service.
Strong organizational skills with a passion for details.
Willing to learn all areas of the store and help train others.
A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required.
Availability must be flexible, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with a high attention to detail.
Available to work some evenings and weekends.
Physical requirements:
work outside in summer/winter temperatures, standing or walking during shift, lifting up to 50lbs, bending, pushing/pulling, etc.
