Founding Sales Engineer – Renewable Energy Software United States | Remote We’re working with a fast-growing energy technology company developing software that helps energy businesses improve the way they operate and manage complex infrastructure. As one of the first Sales Engineers in the US, you’ll be a key technical hire, working closely with Sales, Product and Engineering to support enterprise opportunities from initial discovery through to implementation.
The Role: Lead technical discovery with prospective customers Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations Support RFPs, proposals and solution design Translate customer challenges into practical technology solutions Work closely with Sales throughout complex enterprise sales cycles Support onboarding and implementation following a successful sale Feed customer requirements and market feedback into Product and Engineering Help shape the technical sales process as the US team grows
About You: We're looking for someone with experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering or a similar customer-facing technical role. Experience within energy, infrastructure, industrial technology, SaaS or complex technical software would be highly relevant. You'll need to be comfortable working with technical and commercial stakeholders, running customer conversations and explaining complex technology in a clear, compelling way. This is an opportunity to become a foundational member of a growing US team, with significant ownership over how the technical sales function develops.
