About the role
- (but not limited to):Prepare and process orders for will call and assist in pickups
- Provide exceptional customer service to all will call and counter customers
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and customers regarding order status
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped
- Marks materials with appropriate identifying information, records items received or distributed
- Assists in inventory tasks and management
- Organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
- Shipping and receiving
- Load and unload trucks
- Track merchandise
- Other duties as necessary
- Must have a strong work ethic, exceptional customer service skills and have a "can do" attitude
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old 1+ years recent warehouse experience
- Forklift experience a huge plus
- Valid driver's license with clean, insurable driving record (may occasionally make deliveries)RF Scanner experience preferred
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Previous experience working in wholesale distribution a plusHVAC warehouse experience a HUGE plus
- Must be able to lift up to 70lbs.
