About the role

Emergency Dispatch Operator (EDO)Promotional opportunities are available after 90 days. The hourly wage ranges from $14 to $16, depending on experience. Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish and English are encouraged to apply and will receive additional compensation.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:You will be responsible for monitoring and responding to alarms and signals while providing exceptional customer service.Make outgoing calls to verify alarms and signals, dispatch authorities, and notify responsible parties.Document alarm handling procedures and complete alarm processing as per standard operating procedures.You will carry out your responsibilities by:Participating in a comprehensive five-week interactive training program designed to prepare you for the role and introduce you to exciting opportunities. During this training, you will develop the skills necessary to succeed.Required:Must be 18 years oldCustomer service experienceExcellent communication skillsAble to type between 20 – 25 wpmBasic knowledge of computer applicationsPreferred:Strong problem-solving skillsHigh School Diploma or GEDCandidates must have the ability to work under pressure, demonstrate punctuality, and uphold strong work ethics.
