About the role

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Process Technician to support injection molding operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for mold setup, process start-up and shutdown, troubleshooting, and optimizing molding processes to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Perform mold setups, start-ups, shutdowns, and mold changes in accordance with established procedures Troubleshoot molding processes, machines, and auxiliary equipment to resolve quality and performance issues Monitor and adjust process parameters to maintain optimal cycle times and part quality Support process validation activities, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives Communicate effectively across shifts regarding machine status, process changes, and production updates Collaborate with Maintenance, Tooling, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve equipment and mold-related issues Train and mentor operators, technicians, and material handlers as needed Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and production standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards)
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Experience in injection molding or plastics manufacturing preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills Ability to identify and resolve process-related issues efficiently Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry Strong communication skills with a team-oriented mindset Willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and equipment
Preferred Skills & Experience: Hands-on experience with injection mold setup and process optimization Knowledge of hot runner and cold runner systems Familiarity with scientific or decoupled molding principles Experience with automation systems and auxiliary equipment Technical certifications (e.g., RJG or similar) are a plus
