Seasonal Retail Sales Associate Squishable is a close-knit team of designers, artists, pop-culture fanatics, and lovers of all things adorable. Together we create the cutest, cuddliest (and sometimes downright unusual) plush and lifestyle products in the world. With the millions-strong Squishable fan community cheering us on (and a lot of cupcakes, coffee, and karaoke) we make people say "awww." Our offices are in a sunny SoHo loft in NYC and in downtown Washington, DC.We are Squishable! Products and people are at the core of why we do what we do every day. We strive to create a customer experience built on sharing our love and passion for the brand while building long-lasting relationships with our customers...turning friends into fans. We need great people to represent the brand where it matters most...in front of our customers, and our Sales Associates are the ones who are there. Our Seasonal Retail Sales Associates become Squishable ambassadors: they learn our unique products inside out and develop the communication skills to turn that knowledge into the highest level of customer service. As a member of the team, this person will: Perform all POS transactions efficiently and courteously during the busy holiday season Engage with customers and create a fun, memorable holiday shopping experience in the store Process inbound holiday shipments efficiently and accurately Maintain an organized inventory and ensure all merchandise is displayed according to brand visual guidelines Support the team with opening and closing duties as assigned, particularly during peak holiday periods
Qualifications:
- Must have flexible availability throughout the holiday season, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a pop-up, promotional, or boutique environment
- Able to lift and move cartons weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Compensation: Pay rate is $13.00 per hour
