Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Venture General Contracting is seeking a Construction Estimator to join our team. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain accurate pre-construction and construction estimates in collaboration with project managers Lead lump sum and GMP project bidding processes and resolve technical details in the pre-construction phase Build estimates grounded in design, constructability, logistics, and sequencing knowledge Cultivate subcontractor relationships for estimating, bidding, and project awards Prepare estimate presentations, budget control reports, and documentation for client presentations Conduct comprehensive quantity take-offs and maintain quantity controls across all disciplines, including civil, structural, finishes, mechanical, and electricalQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering with 5+ years in construction/estimating preferred, or an equivalent blend of education and experience Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., Construct Connect, ProEst, On-Screen, Bluebeam or similar), as well as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-Up, and proficiency in MS Office Suite Strong understanding of construction methods, processes, and management practices Ability to interpret construction documents and apply them effectively to estimating Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal Interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders, from subcontractors to project teams and company leadershipBenefitsShort & long-term disability insurance Flexible spending account & dependent care flexible spending accounts 3 weeks of paid time off 401(k) with company match, fully vested after two years of employment Hired applicant will be eligible to receive annual bonus Wellness program, including on-site gym Opportunities for professional development
