About the role

To support a dynamic translation team, the full-time Translations Project Coordinator - Portuguese will manage the workflow for translation projects, liaise with clients and vendors, and contribute to the Translations Group while working remotely.
Key responsibilities: Administers workflow by preparing translation jobs, tracking progress, and formatting final copies for publication Interacts with client departments to educate them on translation processes and resolves issues related to terminology and project execution Collaborates with vendors to negotiate terms, research terminology, and ensure quality translations are delivered
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in language studies, linguistics, translation studies, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Fluency in Portuguese and at least three years of professional experience in project management or translation coordination Membership in the American Translators Association is strongly encouraged Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant software Engagement with Christian Science, including membership in The Mother Church and familiarity with its terminology
