About the role
Redhawk Federal has an immediate opening for a professional-level Executive Administrative Assistant supporting a senior-level government executive in Washington, DC. The Administrative Assistant supports a wide range of applications and administrative tasks that help the office operate efficiently and effectively. This position is on site 5 days a week and an active Secret-level clearance is required to be considered. Please do not apply if you do not have an active Secret-level clearance.
In this role, you will:
-Play a part on setting the tone in the office. You must maintain a high level of professionalism, but with a warm welcoming demeanor.-Be the first-person people see when they come into the office. Responsibilities for the role include:
- Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates proficiency in current technology and advanced software, such as the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products.
- Understands policies and procedures and their impact on office’s mission.
- Manages logistics and resolution for office equipment services, including restarts and malfunctioning equipment. Documents technical issues and resolutions for future reference.
- Performs general administrative assistance functions such as front desk management, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies
- Maintains various inventory lists for computers, mobile devices, and software licenses.
- Performs record management and validation for work hours and publishing office schedules as directed.
- Performs database management by tracking the Department’s training requirements (mandatory classes, supervisory classes, etc.) and notifying staff of required classes.
- Performs time keeping responsibilities in Virtual Timecard and TATEL such as confirming monthly contractor’s hours worked for the COR and Office Director. Provided a report to the Director outlining hours spent teleworking, on leave, and meeting schedules.
- Assists with onboarding by providing information and services to new FTEs and contractors.
- Assists with the maintenance and updates of office policy manuals, announcements, building fobs, badge renewal, records management and archiving.
- Provides support for special projects as applicable.
- Required Secret-level Security Clearance
Education: 4 year Degree Preferred (2 year Degree with at least 2 years of experience)
