What you will do:
Supervise and direct staff to operate fossil fuel fired units in a safe, efficient, and economical manner consistent with company policies, procedures, and best practices.
Identify and implement alternative plans and actions in response to changing market/load demands and operating conditions with consideration of economics, safety, and equipment.
Assure generating units are operated within design parameters to meet load requirements.
Coordinate daily, preventative, and emergent maintenance tasks across multiple departments and functions.
What you bring:
- High school diploma or GEDValid drivers license in good standing
- Minimum of 6 years of journeyman level experience in Power Plant Operations or equivalent operating experience in a related field
- Requires the ability to pass background check for Critical Infrastructure Protection access
- Willingness to work a rotating shift work schedule (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
