About the role

Join a leading energy company supporting large-scale power generation projects. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support combustion turbine facilities through design, construction, and commissioning phases.
Responsibilities: Review and resolve RFIs, NCRs, technical questions, and contractor submittals. Provide electrical engineering support during construction and installation activities. Review drawings, specifications, studies, and technical documentation. Troubleshoot field installation issues and design conflicts. Coordinate with EPC contractors, project managers, construction teams, inspectors, and stakeholders. Support commissioning and startup activities. Ensure compliance with project design requirements and approved specifications. Serve as the electrical engineering lead for project-related technical matters.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.4-7+ years of electrical engineering experience 2-3+ years of experience supporting combustion turbine (working on turbine projects, design, engineering, plant electrical systems) Experience supporting combustion turbine construction, design engineering, plant electrical systems, EPC contractors, commissioning, startup, or owner's engineer functions Ability to work independently and contribute immediately within an active construction environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PE License or EIT Certification.
  • Experience with GE or Siemens combustion turbines.
  • Utility, power generation, EPC, or Owner's Engineer experience.
  • Familiarity with Project
  • Wise, Bluebeam, Procore, SAP, Microsoft Office, and Teams.
Work Environment: Hybrid schedule with onsite support near Mead, Colorado. Travel required to construction sites. Per diem available for qualified non-local candidates. Strong possibility of contract extension for top performers.
