About the role

Business Systems & Automation ConsultantAudit, design, and directly implement the operating systems behind IBLV Automated and IBLV Trading—including customer lifecycle automation, support workflows, SOPs, KPI reporting, incident management, and internal systems. Then help recruit, train, and hand off ownership to a permanent Business Operations Manager. Contract Remote (U.S. Preferred) Negotiable — project-based, based on experience and final scope We are seeking a senior Business Systems & Automation Consultant to work directly with the Founder & CEO on a defined implementation engagement. This is not an advisory-only consulting role. We are not looking for someone who simply audits the company, produces recommendations, and leaves the team to figure out implementation. The consultant will be responsible for diagnosing operational problems, designing the future-state operating model, and then directly implementing the systems, workflows, automations, SOPs, dashboards, support infrastructure, and management processes required to make that operating model work. A major objective of this engagement is to reduce unnecessary manual work, eliminate avoidable founder dependency, improve customer support efficiency, create reliable people/process flows, and determine the true level of human staffing required after automation. The consultant will also help define, recruit, evaluate, onboard, and train IBLV's permanent Business Operations Manager so the systems created during the engagement have a clear long-term owner. The Founder & CEO retains final hiring authority; the consultant is expected to act as the expert operating partner throughout the search, assessment, selection, and handoff process. The ideal consultant combines operations architecture, systems thinking, process design, automation implementation, SaaS/customer operations, technical workflow knowledge, and organizational design. They must be comfortable moving between executive-level operating decisions and hands-on implementation inside tools and workflows. Approximately 8–12 weeks, with flexibility based on implementation scope and Business Operations Manager handoff Remote; U.S.-based or U.S.-time-zone availability strongly preferred Work directly with the Founder & CEO Coordinate with support staff, developers, vendors, and other contractors as needed Potential for a limited fractional advisory relationship after formal handoff Success in this engagement means IBLV is left with a functioning operating system—not simply a roadmap. Core workflows should be implemented, documented, tested, measurable, and assigned to clear owners. Repetitive Tier-1 work should be automated wherever practical, escalations should be structured, KPIs should be visible, and a permanent Business Operations Manager should be prepared to take ownership of day-to-day operations.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
