Job Description: CNC ProgrammerLocation: Dexter, MI Pay Rate: Starts at $24.00+ per hour dependent on experience.
Contact: Apply by calling 734-484-3668 as soon as possibleWe are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team in Dexter, MI. The 2nd candidate we would like someone that can set-up, operate and program CNC's. Minimum $24 an hour, wage based on experience. A good attendance record, initiative, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this position. Shifts Available: Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday Note: Must be available to work overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities: Program, Set-Up and Operate CNC machines to produce quality parts and maintain production levels. Diagnose mechanical difficulties and perform troubleshooting as needed. Conduct basic cleaning, oiling, and general maintenance of CNC machines and inspection boxes. Continuously stock machines with required production materials. Change tools, drills, and inserts in the machine as needed. Read and interpret blueprints. Utilize micrometers (o.d. mics, i.d. mics, calipers) for precise measurements. Lift 50 lbs. or more as required. Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Minimum of 1-year prior CNC experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Basic computer skills. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Proficiency in using micrometers and other precision measuring tools. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team. Preferred experience running Tsugami Swiss type CNC's
