Qualifications:
Display positive attitude and team work skills. Must complete a pre-employment drug test. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist. Must be able and available to work overtime as required.
Job Summary:
Essential duties & responsibilities include the following: Conducts product sampling as well as chemical, microbiological & physical testing.
Essential Functions:
- Basic comprehension of speaking, reading & writing in English
- Can write neatly and clearly on all paper-work.
- Show basic understanding of how to use and operate a computer
- Show comprehension and knowledge retention of all Brakebush - Hartwell training programs (specifically quality and food safety).Can be responsible for having, maintaining and cleaning assigned tools
- Can complete all required paperwork and database entries accurately and in a timely manner.
- Can communicate to direct report when there are deviations from the process or specification.
- Show basic understanding of mathematics (addition, subtraction, percentages, multiplication and/or division).Have a basic understanding of quality control (acceptable vs. unacceptable).Can place product on Hold and complete the Hold Tag process in an accurate and timely manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client.
- Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
