About the role

We are looking for any combination of these languages/experiences: C++, C#, Android, iOS, embedded C, AWS, NoSql Are you hoping to get into an amazingly fun gig, where you can move the needle on revenues (yes, profitable too) which moves the needle on equity (yes, actual public stock at a startup!), where you work changes people's lives and increases public safety (for example), where you are in touch with the customer (actually meet them and feel their software pain), where you're not beholden to VCs for funding/direction, where you're not 1 of 1000 developers in a massive soul-sucking machine ? Oh, also, do you want to surf during lunch ? Just asking. We have offices in Seattle and Santa Barbara, so just pick the way you want to experience water. We are a small, nimble, lean and fun team sitting on a gold mine opportunity in an underserved market that we are actively disrupting with Evidence.com. We bring SaaS and secure evidence management to law enforcment is the most "just works" way possible. From hardware (video cameras, docks) to mobile to desktop to cloud, we own the entire end to end customer experience. This opportunity, plus its adjacent markets, is nearly green-field and ours to win or lose. If you are passionate about software, business, customers, impact, meaningful work, stock upside, and of course, are a rock-star awesome zen master software person (coding, testing, or program managment) then we'd like to talk to you. We prefer candidates with strong academic backgrounds with demonstrated relevant work experience and success (for senior candidates). Please be cool and have interests outside of work.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
