Job Description:
Chiropractic Assistant – West Chester, OHEverybody’s Health is seeking a friendly, organized, dependable Chiropractic Assistant to join our West Chester team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, and takes pride in providing excellent patient service.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner Schedule patient appointments and manage the daily appointment calendar Answer phones and assist patients with scheduling and general questions Collect and update patient demographic and insurance information Assist with new-patient intake and completion of required paperwork Document appropriate patient information in the electronic health record Prepare treatment rooms and patient areas for daily visits Assist the chiropractor during examinations and patient care when needed Help educate patients regarding office procedures, chiropractic care, and treatment recommendations Collect copays, deductibles, outstanding balances, and other patient payments Schedule follow-up visits and help patients stay consistent with recommended care Maintain accurate records and assist with general administrative duties Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment Work closely with doctors and other team members to keep patient flow running efficiently
Preferred Experience:
Previous healthcare experience is helpful but not required. Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: Chiropractic or medical office Dental office or healthcare reception Customer service Patient scheduling Electronic medical records Medical terminology Payment collection or insurance-related administrative work We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to help patients.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment Dependable and punctual Proficient with computers and able to learn new software quickly Ability to work effectively as part of a team Willingness to travel between office locations occasionally is a plus
