About the role
- Execute routine and non-routine laboratory tests following engineering instructions and validated procedures
- Test prototypes and accurately document results within laboratory systems
- Operate automated equipment and robotic systems used in product testing activities
- Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to manage and maintain electronic test records
- Communicate assignment status, test progress, and issues to project engineers and team members
- Ensure testing activities comply with applicable GLP, QS, and quality requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete records for all testing activities
- Support process improvement and training activities by assisting with new procedures and product processes
- Handle laboratory components and equipment requiring fine motor skills and strong hand-eye coordination
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and technical staff to support product development initiatives
- High School Diploma or Two-year Technical Degree, Associate's Degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer proficiency with the ability to learn complex systems quickly
- Hands-on experience operating automated equipment or robotic systems
- Ability to work in a laboratory, technical, or production environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
