Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Room & Public Area Cleanliness: Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to IHG brand standards. Replenish room amenities (towels, toiletries, tea/coffee, etc.) and ensure rooms are guest-ready. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used correctly and safely. Report any maintenance issues or lost/found items immediately.
Guest Service & Support: Greet guests politely when encountered in rooms or hallways. Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests (e.g., extra linen, toiletries, room servicing).Respect guest privacy at all times and adhere to "Do Not Disturb" protocols. Provide clear, simple directions or assistance when needed.
Brand, Safety & Sustainability: Follow all health and safety protocols, including use of PPE and chemical handling. Contribute to the hotel's sustainability goals by minimizing water and chemical waste. Uphold IHG cleanliness standards, especially IHG Clean Promise protocols. Use housekeeping systems (manual/digital) to mark task completion or report issues. Qualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage but not mandatory. Ability to work with minimum supervision and follow instructions. Physically fit and able to lift, bend, and be on feet for extended hours. Basic English communication skills.
