Job Description: The Label Control Technician is responsible for the accurate and compliant printing and verification of cannabis and cannabis product labels. This position also maintains label inventory and supplies, prepares batch records, and ensures label printers and work areas are properly maintained. The role requires strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, and knowledge of cannabis compliance and production processes.
Responsibilities: The label control technician role reports to the Inventory Supervisor and performs the following activities: Produce batch records for processing, packaging, and production batches. Print and verify cannabis and cannabis product labels in compliance with CRA guidelines and regulations. Maintain accurate inventory of labels and label-printing materials. Perform and coordinate preventative maintenance and cleaning of label printers and labeling stations. Maintain organized and accurate documentation related to label production and control. Ensure the label printing area is clean, organized, and compliant. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications: Two years of GMP/Good Documentation Practice experience preferred. Experience with METRC processes and procedures. Experience with Dutchie and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Zebra and Primera label printers preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to follow established procedures and regulatory requirements.
