Role Description:
This full-time, on-site Licensed Mental Health Counselor role is based in Ocala, FL. The counselor will provide individual, couples, and family counseling, conduct intake assessments, and develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to client needs. The role also involves monitoring client progress, adjusting interventions as needed, participating in team meetings and clinical consultations, and adhering to all legal, ethical, and organizational standards for mental health care.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong skills in Treatment Planning to design, implement, and coordinate effective client care. Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Mental Health and Psychology to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of behavioral and emotional concerns. Candidates should possess skills in Relationship Counseling to support couples, families, and interpersonal dynamics. Active state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (or equivalent) in Florida is required. Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required. Experience providing direct clinical services in an outpatient or similar setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with ability to maintain client confidentiality and ethical standards. Comfort working on-site in a team-based environment and collaborating with colleagues and community partners.
